About The Artist
Shawn Johnson
Many know me as a former athlete, as I am fortunate to have been part of the 1998 National Champion University of Tennessee Volunteers, where I played Linebacker. I began drawing when I was a child; continuously using my gift as a means to express how the world is seen through my eyes.
As an artist, my first priority is to develop pieces that both speak to me and others about what moves us. My influences and inspirations stem from the most mundane, everyday occurrences to that which sparks a bit of the imagination.
Simply put, life is a gift. Illustrating how I see this gift is my greatest passion.
